Evenimentul a avut loc în anul 1987, în paraclisul „Sfinții Părinți Ioachim și Ana” al Mănăstirii Sihăstria, din județul Neamț. A fost tuns în monahism de starețul mănăstirii, arhimandritul Victorin Oanele iar naș de călugărie i-a fost părintele Cleopa Ilie. *EN: On August 6, 2020, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel celebrates his 33rd anniversary of his monastic tonsure. The event took place in 1987 at the Chapel of the Righteous Ancestors Joachim and Anna at Sihăstria Monastery, Neamț County. His Beatitude was tonsured a monk by the monastery’s abbot, Archimandrite Victorin Oanele.
