Romania’s National Day was marked by cultural celebrations held by Romanian communities worldwide.
In Serbia, the Romanian Embassy organized a reception at the Royal Residence in Belgrade, Beli Dvor, last Thursday. Over 350 guests, including His Grace Bishop Ieronim of Dacia Felix, attended the event.
In her address, Her Excellency Silvia Davidoiu, Romania’s Ambassador to Serbia, highlighted the longstanding friendship and good neighbourly relations between Romania and Serbia. She noted that recent diplomatic engagements have brought new dynamism and collaborative goals to this historic relationship.

The Serbian hierarch expressed admiration for the achievements of the Diocese of Dacia Felix and conveyed heartfelt congratulations and fraternal love from the Serbian Orthodox Primate.
Additionally, Bishop Ieronim attended a reception on Wednesday hosted by Romania’s Consul General in Vršac, Anca Corfu.
