Archimandrite Ioan Meiu, Representative of the Romanian Orthodox Church to the Holy Places and Superior of the Romanian Establishments in Jerusalem, Jericho and Jordan, met on Thursday with Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.
On this occasion, the Representative of the Romanian Patriarchate presented the Patriarch of Jerusalem with the “Faith and Communion” Order, awarded by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of Romania.
The “Faith and Communion” Order for hierarchs consists of an engolpion depicting the Most Holy Trinity and an official diploma.

Archimandrite Ioan Meiu also offered Patriarch Theophilos III a silver filigree vigil lamp for the Holy Sepulchre, donated on his behalf and on behalf of several of his spiritual disciples, as he explained to Basilica.ro.
The “Faith and Communion” Order is awarded by the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church to individuals — hierarchs, clergy and laypeople — who have distinguished themselves through exceptional activity in defending the Orthodox faith and promoting the unity and image of the Orthodox Church, both in Romania and abroad.
