The Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Tuesday launched a new mobile application designed to inform and connect Romanian communities across the archdiocese. The platform is called ROARCH, inspired by the archdiocesan institution’s official title.
The launch took place at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of Saint George the Great Martyr in London during the Diocesan Assembly meeting.
The application offers a range of features, including the daily Orthodox calendar, news and official announcements from the Archdiocese, multimedia content, and contact details and addresses for all parishes.
The platform will gradually integrate additional materials and sections dedicated to pastoral mission, youth activities, catechetical resources and diocesan events, providing the community with a continuous stream of spiritual and educational resources adapted to contemporary needs.
Through ROARCH, the Archdiocese of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is adapting its pastoral work to the digital age, offering an interactive space to strengthen community ties and provide instant access to resources related to church life.
The application is available free of charge on iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play.
