His Eminence Metropolitan Irineu highlighted the importance of responsibility in disseminating information and the media’s role in promoting the Metropolis’s spiritual and cultural activities.
“The words of our Savior Jesus Christ must be proclaimed to the entire world. In the Old Testament, in the wisdom books, there is mention of wisdom being proclaimed. We proclaim the wisdom of the Holy Gospel,“ said the Metropolitan.
“Today, there is a demand for transmitting texts and information concisely and suggestively through compressed messages tailored for the Internet era. People seek ideas, keywords, and precise terms. We focus on methods, not ideologies. We aim to connect with believers, especially the youth.”
“In our current age, everything is compressed. We must provide condensed, impactful writings that are also comprehensive. We must forge a connection between the word and the person. Even in the virtual space, God’s word must be present. There should be no space devoid of God,“ His Eminence added.
