Romanian parish plans neuromotor recovery and equine therapy center in Moldavia region

The “Saint Joseph the Merciful” Parish in the Bucium neighborhood of Iași plans to build the only neuromotor recovery and equine therapy center in the Moldavia region.

The project is expected to serve approximately 150 beneficiaries annually, many of whom are children requiring rehabilitation and currently undergoing therapy at the center founded by Mihai Neșu in Oradea.Moldavia

The facility will be developed on a 25,000-square-meter plot and include a full-scale hippotherapy complex. Currently, efforts are underway to complete the land registration process, which requires approval from the Iași City Council.

To this end, the parish has submitted a request to the Iași City Hall to include the land in the city’s intravilan (urban area). The proposal is scheduled for discussion at a public consultation on April 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the institution’s headquarters.

The investment also includes plans to build an accessible playground for people with disabilities, a sensory garden, a greenhouse garden, a sports field, and a parking area.
