Acknowledging with great concern that more and more innocent people are becoming victims of fanatical terrorist attacks, it is necessary to intensify our prayers for the cessation of hatred and violence that cause panic and insecurity in society.
Let us pray to God especially on this Saturday and Sunday (November 4-5) for the rest of the souls of those who died in the terrorist attack in New York, for the recovery of the wounded and for the comfort of their families.
We express our deep feelings of compassion and solidarity with the troubled American people.
