Romanian Patriarchate to open Annunciation kindergarten this year

The Annunciation Kindergarten of the Romanian Patriarchate will open its gates this year as part of the programs organized by the Church to reflect the pastoral care to parents and children. Through this initiative, the Romanian Church wanted to highlight the importance of Christian education for contemporary society.

The Annunciation Kindergarten will offer before- and after-school programs for children inside a modern building with an innovative and aesthetic design.

“We offer children the help they need to develop both personally and socially, that is, we train them for life. Every child is appreciated and respected, and their skills are discovered and capitalized,” reads an article on the official website of the new kindergarten.

“Our kindergarten promotes an integral, motivating, active and creative learning, which highlights the cultural, moral and religious values that contributed to the formation of the Romanian and European identity.”

The kindergarten’s name was given by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel who reminds that ‘the Annunciation is the beginning of the salvation of the world by Jesus Christ.’

‘In the festal icon of the Annunciation, we see the merciful love of God, who begins our salvation and waits for us all to respond to His calling.’

The new kindergarten is located close to the Patriarchal Cathedral on Episcop Chesarie Street, no. 9.
