Rev Constantin Necula Lectured at Dej for More than 1000 Persons

Young and Old, Opportunities and Obstacles was the theme of the lecture delivered by Rev Constantin Necula from the Faculty of Theology of Sibiu.

The event was organised by the Orthodox Philanthropy Association, branch of Dej, in partnership with the Orthodox Deanery of Dej and County Council of Cluj. The lecture was delivered Sunday, 21 August 2016, 19.00 hours, in the Sports Hall of Dej city – Renaissance Radio station informs.

After lecturing, Rev Constantin Necula answered the questions addressed by the audience on various themes.

In the end, president of the Orthodox Philanthropy Association of Dej, Costinel Soaita, thanked all those involved in this event and launched a new social project in partnership with the Orthodox Deanery of Dej entitled Send a Poor Child to School!

Our purpose is to ensure the access to education and support the poor children to go to school. We would like every child to have at the beginning of the school year a satchel, writing instruments, copy books, and other things needed for school – Costinel Soaita, president of the Orthodox Philanthropy Association of Dej said.

Rev Constantin Necula graduated the Faculty of Theology of Andrei Saguna of Sibiu and is doctor in theology, specialised in catechetic – homiletics and Christian pedagogy. He is the author of several books of sermons, studies and articles of homiletics and catechetic, as well as of books for children and young people. He translated several books and wrote articles published in the country and abroad. He has also signed tens of studies in Romanian and in foreign languages – French, Italian, and German – and many reviews. He delivered hundreds of lectures in the country and abroad and participated in many radio and television programmes both on national and international channels.
