On the occasion of your Beatitude’s seventieth birthday, I cordially assure you of my spiritual closeness. I pray that almighty God will bestow His blessings of health and happiness upon you, and pour an abundance of the Holy Spirit’s gifts upon your ecclesial ministry.
May the light of the risen Jesus shine always upon you, and may the Romanian Orthodox Church under your guidance continue to grow in faith and charity in bearing witness to Christ.
Dear brother, fondly recalling our meeting in Bucharest, I gladly renew my prayerful best wishes and exchange a fraternal embrace of peace in the Lord.
