On Sunday, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of the Romanian Orthodox Church cast his vote in the Parliamentary elections.
The Patriarch of Romania exercised his right to vote at “Ienăchiță Văcărescu” Elementary School in Bucharest around 5:30 PM.
By then, voter turnout had surpassed 44% of those listed on the electoral rolls.
Romania’s permanent electoral lists include a total of 18,008,555 registered voters. By 5:30 PM, approximately 8 million citizens had already cast their ballots.
