On Wednesday, 30 September 2026, the Romanian Orthodox Church will mark 19 years since His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel’s enthronement.
On this occasion, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Patriarchal Cathedral.
Following the Divine Liturgy, at 11:00 a.m., a Te Deum service will be officiated at the Patriarchal Cathedral, giving thanks to God for the blessings bestowed upon the life of the Romanian Orthodox Church during the 19 years of patriarchal ministry of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.
The programme will continue at noon with a festive event at the Europa Christiana Hall of the Patriarchal Palace.
Attendees will include hierarchs who are members of the Metropolitan Synod of the Metropolis of Muntenia and Dobruja, members of the Standing Committee of the National Church Council, and members of the Standing Committee of the Diocesan Centre of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
