24 February 1875 – Theology professor Ioan Calinciuc passed away in Cernăuți. He was Dogmatics professor at the Theological Institute of Cernăuți (1838 – 1875). He bequeathed a course of Dogmatics in manuscript. He was a member of the Leadership Committee, then vice-president of the “Society for the Romanian culture and literature in Bucovina”.
