March 1865 – Rev. Religion Prof. Nazarie Constantin was born in
Vultureni, county of Bacău. Studies at the Low Seminary of Roman, then
at “Veniamin” of Iași (1881- 1888) and at the Spiritual Academy of Kiev
(1888 – 1893). Director of the Episcopal Office of Roman (1894 – 1896),
substitute professor (1894 – 1898) and director of the Seminary of Roman
(1896 – 1898), priest (1896), then professor and director of the
“Central” Seminary of Bucharest – photo – (1898 – 1901); professor at
the chair of Morals at the Faculty of Theology of Bucharest (1901 –
1926); in parallel, director of the Theological Boarding School of
Bucharest (1904 – 1926), priest of the “Stavropoleos” church (till
1925), chief of the Religious Service of the Great General Headquarters
of the Romanian Army (1915 – 1921), initiator and president of the
General Association of the clergy of Romania (1919). He published
precious works.
