The Orthodox Academy of Crete has been recognized as an official research center

With the recent bill of the Ministry of Education voted by the Greek Parliament on April 23, 2019, the Orthodox Academy of Crete (OAC) is now incorporated into Law 4310/2014 (A 258) for “Research, Technological Development and Innovation” and is officially among the recognized Research Centers in Greece, Romfea News informs.

This is a very important development for OAC, as well as a recognition for the responsible work that has been going on for fifty years.

This recognition assigns OAC with greater responsibilities and new tasks both for the promotion and international publicity of the scientific research that is taking place in our country, as well as for the lively and creative presence of Orthodoxy in the modern world.
