„Presents for Pilgrims” Shop Inaugurated

A new shop of the Department for vending church objects and books of the Archdiocese of Bucharest was inaugurated Friday, 22 April 2016. “Presents for Pilgrims” shop is located in the precincts of the North Train Station in Bucharest.

The blessing service was celebrated by rev. fr. Mihai Aurel, Eparchial vicar.

At the end, the persons who contributed to the arrangement and endowment of the new shop were awarded distinctions and diplomas of honour.

Rev. protosyncellus Ioachim Bejenariu, director of the respective department of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, and Laurenţiu Maraloi, director of the regional branch of the Romanian Railways were awarded the Homage Diploma of Saint Hierarch Martyr Antim of Iviria with Medal. Messrs Dumitru Velicu and Vasile Metu from the Department were awarded the Diploma of Worthiness of Saint Pious Demetrius the New, Protector of Bucharest, and Mrs Aurelia Roşu was awarded the Diploma of worthiness of the Image of the Mother of God.
