The Holy Fire was received at the Tomb of the Lord’s Resurrection in Jerusalem on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at approximately 2:35 p.m.
The miracle, a sign of divine love, occurred this year soon after the special prayer of His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of Jerusalem, offered during the Vespers of the Resurrection. Sometimes the Holy Fire descends from above; other times, it emerges directly from the Holy Sepulchre.
The ceremony of receiving the Holy Fire was broadcast live on Saturday by Trinitas TV, including via Youtube and Facebook.

Holy Fire to Reach Romania and Moldova
On Saturday evening, the Holy Fire will be brought from Jerusalem to Romania by Archimandrite Teofil Anăstăsoaie, Representative of the Romanian Patriarchate to the Holy Places.
It will be handed over to delegations from the dioceses of the Romanian Patriarchate at the “Henri Coandă” International Airport in Otopeni, Ilfov County.
In this way, the Holy Fire will reach all parishes across the country and in the Republic of Moldova on the night of Holy Pascha.
The tradition of bringing the Holy Fire from Jerusalem was established in 2009 by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.
