The 2020 edition of the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth (ITO), which was programmed to be held this September in Timișoara, has been rescheduled for next year.
The decision was taken considering the need to limit the Covid-19 pandemic.
The latest edition of the event was held in the southern-Romania city of Craiova between September 5 and 8, 2019.
Patriarch Daniel, the Metropolitan of Oltenia, other clergy members, state and city officials met at the time more than 4,000 young people from the country and from abroad.

ITO Timișoara, rescheduled for next year, will be the seventh edition of the event, after the meetings in Baia Mare (2014), Cluj (2015), Bucharest (2016), Iași (2017), Sibiu (2018), and Craiova (2019).
