On Friday, Nov. 23, the delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, led by His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, paid a visit to the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in Romania.
Also present were Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Patra, and other representatives of the Romanian Patriarchate.
The delegations were welcomed by His Excellency the Ambassador of Greece in Romania, Vassilis Papadopoulos.
Earlier the same day, the Ecumenical Patriarch met with the Turkish Ambassador to Romania Osman Koray Ertaș.
On Friday evening, the Ambassador of Greece to Romania offered an official dinner in honour of the Ecumenical Patriarch, to which other members of the Greek Community in Bucharest were invited.
