Theotokos Chorus of Alba Iulia carolled at the Patriarchate Palace

Today, 14 December 2012, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel was carolled by about 40 children, members of the “Theotokos” Chorus of Alba Iulia, at the Patriarchate Palace.

Dressed in national costumes, the little ones sang Romanian traditional carols.

To end with, they were given presents and were blessed by the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church: “We congratulate you, and wish you all the help of God in you activity and pray God to bless your families, school and spiritual parents from the church who taught you these carols and who encourage you to keep these Romanian traditions, so that we should convey this holy good message named carol from generation to generation. It is holy because it speaks about the One Holy God and good because it urges to kindness so as we may answer with the kindness of our heart to the merciful kindness of God, with the special joy of the holidays”, said His Beatitude as Trinitas Radio informs us.
