From 2009 forward the Department for education and activity with the youth has organised for children, with the high blessing of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel, the show entitled Saint Nicholas in the middle of the children, in collaboration with the Methodist Religion teachers of Bucharest and with the parishes of Deaneries I, II, III of the Capital. The event will take place on 5 December 2012, at 17.00 hours, at the Patriarchate Palace of Bucharest.
As the Department for education and activity with the youth of the Archdiocese of Bucharest informs us, the show is dedicated to the pupils from I till VI forms including (pupils from the educational units of Bucharest aged from 6 to 12) and is designed to encourage the pupils gifted for music and poetry, contributing thus to the development of the national culture.
This year groups of pupils from the following educational units participate: Secondary school of Saint Nicholas, Secondary School no 62, Secondary School of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Secondary School of George Bacovia no 280 of Mihail Sebastian, Secondary School no. 117.
The pupils will perform carols, chants of Saint Nicholas’ service, and short plays.
The access into the hall is allowed only with invitations.
