The Romanian Orthodox Church in Tokyo concludes the year with a significant achievement: the adornment of its interior with iconography and frescoes.
“With great joy, we share the celebration of Christ’s Nativity from the Bethlehem of Japan! This year, God’s abundant blessings have beautified our church through paintings and icons,” the parish representatives posted on Facebook, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the project.
Following the Christmas Liturgy, Romanian parishioners enjoyed a puppet theater performance.
Appointments for receiving Theophany blessings at home are being scheduled until January 1 by calling 080-7801-7382.
Between January 2-15, 2025, Parish Priest Daniel Corîu will visit believers across Japan to bless their homes.

Consecrated in 2020 by Metropolitan Iosif of Western and Southern Europe and Metropolitan Daniel of Tokyo and Japan, the Romanian Church in Tokyo has been serving the faithful since its parish organization began in 2008.
