Patriarch Daniel’s 13th enthronement anniversary: communique

On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, the Romanian Orthodox Church marks the His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel’s 13th enthronement anniversary.

On this occasion, at 9.00 a.m., the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the Patriarchal Cathedral. At 11.00 a.m. a Te Deum service will be officiated as wholehearted thanksgiving to God for the benefactions over the life of the Romanian Orthodox Church and His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel during the 13 years of patriarchal ministry.

Members of the Holy Synod, of the Standing National Church Council, of the Bucharest Archdiocesan Standing Council, representatives of the central and local authorities, and personalities of public and cultural life will attend.

At noon, in the Europa Christiana hall of the Patriarchate’s Palace, a festive moment will take place, during which the representatives of the state authorities, as well as of other public institutions will read out their congratulatory messages.
