His Eminence Pimen, Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuţi, and the Assistant Bishop Damaschin of Dorna consecrated Sunday, 30 July 2017, the Salaş Skete of the Putna Monastery in Suceava County. This was the first consecration of a church performed by His Grace Damaschin after his ordination as bishop on July 23.
After the consecration service, the two hierarchs concelebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Prophet Elijah outdoor altar of the Skete, in the presence of many faithful.
