His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel Was Carolled by the “Datina Romaneasca” Group

On 14 December 2012, in the evening, over 50 members of Datina Romaneasca group within the Traditia Romaneasca Association seated in Bucharest carolled His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church and wished him many years of life and good health. The event was held in Europa Christiana Hall of the Patriarchate Palace of Bucharest.

To end with, the Patriarch of Romania congratulated the carollers and rewarded them with presents: “Thank you very much for this series of carols, very original some of them, but traditional in fact, which combines the good news of the Nativity of the Lord with Romanian traditions older and newer, while these rich costumes are bunches of flowers which accompany very nicely indeed the Annunciation chant of the love of God merciful for the world.

We congratulate you, and wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with good health and much help from God and the Feast of the Lord’s Baptism with peace and holy joy”, said His Beatitude, as Trinitas Radio station informs us.

The conductor of the Group of carollers is Rev. Vladimir Alexa from the parish of Buzoieni – Lehliu Gara.
