This year, the Basilica Press Centre of the Romanian Patriarchate celebrates its 10th anniversary of media ministry.
Each year the Basilica Press Centre of the Romanian Patriarchate has two patronal feast days: the Postfeast of Pentecost, when we celebrate the Most Holy Trinity, and the feast of Venerable Demetrius the New, Protector of Bucharest (October 27).
Founded in 2007 at the initiative and with the blessing of His Beatitude Daniel one month after his enthronement as Patriarch of Romania, the Basilica Press Centre is comprised of five departments: Radio Trinitas, Trinitas TV, Lumina Newspaper, Basilica News Agency and the Press Office of the Romanian Patriarchate.
