His Eminence Metropolitan Petru of Bessarabia and Adrian Efros, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, signed a collaboration protocol last Friday to support religious activities.
The two institutions committed to promoting moral-spiritual education and providing religious assistance to the employees of the ministry’s subordinate structures, as stated on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chișinău.
The primary aim of the agreement is to carry out religious assistance activities to meet the spiritual needs of ministry employees.
The protocol also seeks to strengthen moral-spiritual education and promote Christian values within the institutions under the ministry’s authority.
During the signing ceremony, Metropolitan Petru presented Minister Adrian Efros with an icon of the Virgin Mary, the protectress of all Christians, expressing gratitude for the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ support of the activities organized by the Metropolis of Bessarabia.
Minister Adrian Efros thanked the Metropolis of Bessarabia for its openness and collaboration, emphasizing the importance of this partnership in reinforcing spiritual and moral values among the ministry’s personnel.
