Archbishop Ieronymos to the new Prime Minister: I wish you strength and patience

The new Prime Minister and President of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, was sworn in on Monday, July 8, in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos, Romfea News reports.

The inauguration was carried out by Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, along with the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod, Archimandrite Philotheos Theocharis.

It should be noted that the new Prime Minister was accompanied by his wife, Mareva Grabowski and their three children.

Archbishop Ieronymos congratulated the new Prime Minister at the end of the inauguration and wished him “a great deal of strength and patience”.

From his part, the new Prime Minister Mitsotakis said after he sworn in that “the hard work begins today. I have complete confidence in our ability to rise to the occasion”.
