Today, 5 February 2015, a Te Deum service was celebrated at the Patriarchal Cathedral of Bucharest, in the presence of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church and of the members of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, before opening the working session of the Holy Synod.
The religious service was celebrated by His Grace Emilian Lovisteanul, Assistant Bishop to the Archdiocese of Ramnic, assisted by a group of priests and deacons.
Members of the Standing meeting of the Church National Council and hundreds of faithful attended the celebration.
The Te Deum service was preceded by the Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Grace Emilian Lovisteanul too.
