This Sunday the Romanians went to vote to elect their president within the second ballot.
His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church voted tonight around 17.00 hours at polling station 644 within “Ienachita Vacarescu” School 74 of Bucharest.
After casting his vote, His Beatitude offered small icons to those present.
Over 18,500 polling stations were set up for the Romanian citizens entitled to vote in the country, and 294 abroad in 95 states. The first ballot of the presidential elections in Romania took place on 2 November.
