The Patriarch Of Romania Voted At Polling Station 644 Of Bucharest

This Sunday, the Romanians went to vote to elect their president.

Tonight, at 17.00 hours, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church voted at polling station 644 at “Ienachita Vacarescu” School 74 of Bucharest.

After casting his vote, His Beatitude offered small icons to those present.

Over 18,000 polling stations were set up for the Romanian citizens of the country, and 294 for those abroad. The second ballot, when only the first two candidates remain, will be on 16 November 2014.
