Romanian Bishop Ioan Casian concelebrates ordination of assistant bishop Bartholomew of Keramos

His Grace Bishop Ioan Casian of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada concelebrated at the Divine Liturgy and the ordination to the Episcopate of the new assistant bishop to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada, Bishop Bartholomew of Keramos.

The religious service took place on July 25, 2020, at the Church of the Holy Cross in Laval, Quebec, Canada, and was presided over by His Eminence Sotirios, Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Canada.

At the end of the service, Bishop Ioan Casian congratulated the new hierarch, wishing him blessings from God and pastoral accomplishments in the new calling, also giving him an icon and the volume Orthodox Theology in the twentieth century and early twenty-first century published by the Basilica Publishing House of the Romanian Patriarchate.

Archimandrite Nektarios Mostratos was elected Bishop of Keramos by the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate during its working session on February 13, 2020.

The newly ordained Bishop of Keramos was named Bartholomew.
