Thousands of pro-life activists are expected to rally on Saturday in over 600 cities in Romania and the Republic of Moldova to support the rights of unborn children under the slogan ‘Unique from the first second’.
The purpose of the March for Life 2019 is to raise awareness on fetal rights and the need to find proper solutions for women in a pregnancy crisis.
The March for Life is the main event of a series of manifestations held during the Month for Life (March 2019).
This month’s schedule includes debates, reading and photography workshops for children, conferences, film screening, and a cross for life.
In Bucharest, activists will meet on Saturday at 11.00 am at Unirii Park, which will be the starting point for the March for Life.
The March will conclude at Tineretului Park (Youth’s Park), where several pro-life supporters will deliver speeches. Next, participants will have the chance to listen to a concert titled Live for Life.
Speakers include the President of Students for Life Association, Eliza-Maria Clotea, the President of Romania for Life Association and founder of SfL, Alexandra Nadane, MEP Catalin Ivan, artists and other activists.
