Patriarch Daniel welcomes Holy Fire at Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest

His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania, welcomed Saturday evening, April 27, 2019 at the Patriarchal Cathedral the Holy Fire (Light) from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

The Assistant Bishops to the Patriarch, Their Graces Varlaam of Ploiești and Ieronim of Sinaia, were also present.

The Holy Fire was brought to Romania by a delegation of our Church led by His Grace Timotei of Prahova, Assistant Bishop to the Bucharest Archdiocese.

The Holy Fire will be offered to the clergy and the faithful who will be present at the Patriarchal Cathedral, this evening, at the midnight office of the Resurrection of the Lord.
