Today, 2 June 2014, His Excellency, Mr Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, met the Primates of the Orthodox Churches present in Tirana. These ones are in the capital city of Albania on the occasion of the consecration of the new Archiepiscopal Cathedral of the Resurrection of the Lord, an event held on Sunday, 1 June 2014. His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church was also present at the meeting with His Excellency Mr Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania Republic.
These protocol meetings ended the visit of the delegation of the Orthodox Churches to Tirana, capital city of Albania. Before leaving, the delegation of the Romanian Orthodox Church headed by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel attended a reception organised by the Romanian Ambassador in Tirana, His Excellency Mr Aurel Stanila, as Aurel Moisiuc, Trinitas Radio reporter related.
