On Monday, October 1, 2018, the Patriarch Justinian Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Bucharest celebrated the opening of the 2018-2019 academic year.
The opening ceremony was held at the Fr Dumitru Staniloae Hall of the Faculty.
Prior to the opening ceremony, the patriarchal auxiliary bishop Varlaam of Ploiesti celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St Catherine University Chapel, in the presence of professors and students.
The opening ceremony was led by the interim dean Rev. Vasile Raduca, who presented the Faculty’s board of directors and the spiritual father who will coordinate the students’ practice.
The interim dean warmly welcomed everyone in the new academic year.
At the end of the ceremony, the members of the Orthodox Theology Students’ Association (ASTO) offered those present a student’s guide edited by the Association.
