His Beatitude Daniel Celebrates Six Years since His Enthronement as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church

Monday, 30 September 2013, His Beatitude Daniel will celebrate six years since his enthronement as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church (30 September 2007).

At this anniversary time, at 9.30 hours, the Patriarch of Romania will celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the Patriarchal Cathedral, assisted by hierarchs of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, priests and deacons.

After the Divine Liturgy, at 11.30 hours, a Te Deum service will be celebrated as thanksgiving to God for the boons bestowed over the Romanian Orthodox Church, over the Romanian people, and over His Beatitude during the six years of patriarchal service

Then, at 12.30 hours, an anniversary event will take place in Europa Christiana hall of the Patriarchate Palace when congratulatory messages on behalf of the central and local state authorities, as well as of some other public institutions, will be presented.

Hierarchs of the Holy Synod, representatives of the central and local state representatives, personalities of the Romanian public life, and members of the Standing meetings of the Church National Council and of the Eparchial Assembly of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, clergy and laics will attend the event.
