Hierarchic Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral

Wednesday morning, 3 June 2015, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Patriarchal Cathedral of Bucharest, before beginning the working session of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Grace Andrei, Bishop of Covasna and Harghita, assisted by a group of priests and deacons. The celebrating group also included rev archimandrite Clement Haralam, great ecclesiarch of the Patriarchal Cathedral.

Several hierarchs, members of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, and many faithful attended the Divine Liturgy.

The liturgical answers were given by Tronos chorus of the Patriarchal Cathedral.

During the Divine Liturgy, rev archimandrite Rafael Ghita, former servant priest and Great Eclesiarch of the Patriarchal Cathedral, who died the same day in the morning, was remembered.
