Distinction for Symbol Chorus of the Romanian Patriarchate

Today, 2 September 2014, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania, awarded, in the Romanian Saints Hall of the Patriarchal Residence, the Diploma and homage medal of the Brancovean Saints Martyrs to Symbol Chorus of Youth and Children of the Romanian Patriarchate. The distinctions were handed over to Rev Archdeacon Jean Lupu – conductor of the chorus.

The festive event was occasioned by the “Symbol” Chorus of Youth and Children of the Romanian Patriarchate winning the first prize at the International Choral Contest held in Ochrid, Macedonia, from 21 – 25 August 2014.

Symbol chorus of the Romanian Patriarchate was set up in 1990.
