The Social Mission Diaconia of the Metropolis of Bessarabia has launched the sixth edition of its Ludobus – Messenger of Electrical Safety project, which will bring educational activities to children in ten localities across the Republic of Moldova this summer.
The Ludobus is a minibus equipped with a mobile library of creative games that travels to rural communities, providing children with access to artistic activities and educational play.
The programme’s activities are led by volunteers from Young Diaconia, who organise educational games tailored for children and present them in an interactive and accessible way.
The project is supported by an electricity distribution company. As a result, participating children will also learn how to protect themselves from electrical accidents.
“We are delighted to launch the sixth edition of the Ludobus project, a programme that has grown year after year and continues to bring valuable educational experiences to children in local communities,” said Nina Gindea, coordinator of the volunteer department.
To date, more than 2,570 children from 50 localities have participated in Ludobus activities.
Companies, institutions and individuals interested in supporting local communities can also contract Ludobus services to bring this educational and recreational experience to areas that need it most.
