Tonight, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania, was carolled by the group of carollers of the Christian Orthodox Students’ Association of Romania. They sang old carols from various parts of the country.
After the recital of carols ended, the Primate of the Romanian Orthodox Church spoke about the students’ mission in the life of the Church.
“We congratulate you and wish you to spend the blessed feasts of the Nativity of the Lord, New Year and Baptism of the Lord with much light in your souls and houses, promoting this beautiful activity designed to bring joy wherever it is sadness, a light presence where it is loneliness, and hope where this one is diminished”, His Beatitude said.
