Carollers at the Patriarchal Residence

On 25 December 2014, the day of the Nativity of Lord, after giving the answers at the Divine Liturgy celebrated in the Patriarchal Cathedral, the members of “Nicolae Lungu” chorus of the Romanian Patriarchate carolled His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church at the Patriarchal Residence.

“We wish you many blessed years of life, joy and thank you for all the missionary activity unfolded in the Church. We congratulate you for your musical performance and for the beauty of the divine services. It is obvious it is a more dynamic and missionary chorus.

We wish you happy feasts, a New Year with new achievements for you and for your families and, certainly, may you announce like the angels who sang at Bethlehem the joy of the Nativity of the Lord as presence of the Holy Spirit in the people’s hearts and houses!”, His Beatitude said.

To end with, the Patriarch of Romania offered presents to the chorus members, according to tradition.
