Carollers at the Patriarch of Romania

Tonight, the Patriarch of Romania was carolled at the Patriarchal Residence by “Tiblesul” choral group from Spermezeu locality, county of Bistrita Nasaud. Dressed in folk costumes, the group members sang old Romanian carols.

To end with, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel congratulated them for keeping the authentic traditions.

“Thank you very much for these beautiful original carols. They are not sung everywhere, which means that you have a creative tradition in the area and a great diversified composition. One can also see that you have very beautiful folk costumes in Bistrita Nasaud area. We congratulate you for keeping the Romanian national costumes, children, young people and aged young people, as the Church says, because we have only young people of various ages in the Church. Whoever sings for God is always young and will sing in eternity with the angels”, His Beatitude said.
