The second day of the canonical visit of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel to the Diocese of Deva and Hunedoara ended with the blessing of the new Eparchial Centre. This one was set up close to the Cathedral dedicated to “Saint Hierarch Nicholas” and to “Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles”. Several hierarchs of our Church attended the blessing service, as Trinitas TV informs.
The equipment of the centre began at the end of 2010 with the support of the local authorities. All those who involved in this job were awarded diplomas and distinctions on behalf of the Patriarch of Romania. His Beatitude offered an icon of the Brancovean Saints Martyrs and several books to the eparchial centre.
Then, His Grace Bishop Gurie, the local hierarch, addressed a thanksgiving speech.
This Sunday, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel will participate in the Divine Liturgy celebrated in the Cathedral of “Saint Hierarch Nicholas and Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles”.
