His Beatitude Archbishop Chrysostomos arrived at Charlotte Douglas Airport in South Carolina, where he was received by His Eminence Archbishop Elipidophoros. His Beatitude was also received by the Metropolitan of Atlanta, Mr. Alexios.
Afterwards, His Beatitude went to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, where a large number of Greeks welcomed him wholeheartedly. Children and young people in the community dressed in traditional costumes came to offer him flowers and receive the blessing of the Primate of the Church of Cyprus.
The Archbishop of Cyprus is accompanied by the neurosurgeon Mr. Theologos Theologos and the Director of the Archbishopric Office Mr. Michael Spyros.
Blessed One will be admitted to a special medical center to undergo liver surgery.
