All-night Vigil for the Three Holy Hierarchs at the Patriarchal Cathedral

During these festive days, the liturgical program at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest is particular. Every evening, at 18:00 p.m., the pilgrims who are coming to venerate the holy relics placed in the baldachin next to the Patriarchal Cathedral, can also assist at the Vigil service. Yesterday evening, 23 October 2015, the service was officiated by His Grace Siluan, Romanian Orthodox Bihop of Hungary, surrounded by an assembly of priests and deacons. V. Rev. Archimandrite Clement Haralam, Great ecclesiarch of the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest, also participated.

We wish that the presence of the Three Holy Hierarchs, their longing for unity, their care for the Church, will fill our souls with joy and blessing. We wish to remind you all Romanians from home and abroad the abundant love that the Three Holy Hierarchs had for the Church more than anything else in their life. They sacrificed everything for this love of God, for the love of Church”, His Grace Bishop Siluan said.

The liturgical responses were offered by the psaltic group Tronos of the Patriarchal Cathedral.
