New book: Diocesan Cathedrals of the Metropolitanate of Wallachia and Dobruja

A new book, ‘The Diocesan Cathedrals of the Metropolinate of Wallachia and Dobrudja,’ was recently published in English by the Basilica Publishing House of the Romanian Patriarchate providing an insight into the history of the Orthodox Cathedrals within the Metropolis of Muntenia and Dobrudja.

‘Beyond the difficulties of the building act itself, beyond all kinds of hardships and afflictions that have pounced upon them in time, the Cathedrals of Romania bear a stone built witness of the faith of the Romanian people, their love for God’s Church, an evidence of the high regard and gratitude for the forerunners’ sacrifice,’ reads the volume’s foreword signed by Patriarch Daniel.
