The Patriarch of Romania in Brussels

These days His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania is in Brussels. The visit of His Beatitude to the Capital of Belgium is occasioned by the annual meeting with the religious leaders of the European Union, as well as with high European employees, at the seat of the European Commission.

Wednesday evening, the Primate of the Romanian Orthodox Church was met at the National Airport of Brussels, by His Eminence Iosif, Romanian Orthodox Metropolitan for Western and Southern Europe, together with Mr. Mihnea Moțoc, Romanian Ambassador at the European Union and Rev. Lecturer Dr. Sorin Șelaru, Patriarchal Counsellor – Director of the Representation of the Romanian Patriarchate at the European Institutions – according to Trinitas Television. His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel is accompanied to Brussels by His Eminence Metropolitan Nifon, Archbishop of Târgoviște and Patriarchal Exarch.

In the evening, His Beatitude blessed the seat of the Romanian Patriarchate Representation at the institutions of the European Union.

His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel will return to the country on Friday.
