Thanks to a new presentation on the official site of the Polish Orthodox Church, Orthodox faithful from around the world can easily tour the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene in Warsaw.
The capital of Poland has an additional Orthodox cathedral, “Hagia Sophia”, under construction since 2015. It is 22 meters high and is built according to the plan of the Basilica of Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. Like the Romanian National Cathedral, the “Hagia Sophia” Cathedral in Warsaw is dedicated to the nation’s heroes.
