The Biblical and Orthodox Mission Institute recently published a bilingual Romanian-English version of the office for receiving heterodox individuals into the Orthodox Church.
The publication aids parishes in the Romanian diaspora, where the number of people converting to the Orthodox faith is increasing.
The new volume contains the English translation of the 2014 Romanian edition.
Metropolitan Nicolae of the two Americas and Bishop Mihail of Australia and New Zealand contributed texts to the translation.
Bishop Ignatie of the Husi and Priest Michael Tița, patriarchal counsellor and coordinator of the Department of External Church Relations at the Romanian Patriarchate, compiled the text.
Priest Liviu Barbu from Dobroteasa Church in Bucharest revised, edited, and prepared the final version of the text. Archimandrite Chiril Lovin, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Theology in Bucharest, oversaw the project.
The book contains the office of welcoming to the Orthodox faith those of other religions and Christians who do not belong to the Orthodox Church, as well as the order of St. Methodius, the patriarch of Constantinople, for those who renounced Orthodoxy and later returned to it.
